The airport was similar to many airports in the states. The signs were clearly marked and there was plenty of food vendors available. Nothing to do with the airport but the roads that lead to the airport are pretty confusing. The express way already segregate the two terminals before one even enters the airport. Make sure to check which terminal applies to your airline before heading there.

Minneapolis airport is wonderful. Traveling around, many airports are cramped, and it seems like this airport is never packed with people, like it was designed well. they have playgrounds and dog parks throughout the airport which is also really nice if you're traveling with pets or kids. There's also a tremendous selection of restaurants and bars, which I find very helpful. Compared to other major airports, I think it's clean and designed to get you to your gate quickly. Finally, this is a minor point, but I often use TSA PreCheck, and it seems like their line is always short... For whatever reason. I've used it every year for the past 6 years at least, and I have yet to have a bad experience.

Well based on my last trip did drive from minneapolis, mn to Fargo, ND to visit family over the holidays is that having a car that is reliable and great on mileage was important to me. Having piece of mine that car won't break down was great. The rep from Thrifty at airoport was pleasant and helpful. Total time between picking up and dropping off was less than 1 hour. Price was very reasonable as well. I would go with Thrifty again in the future. Thank you. Happy New Year!!

There are 2 terminals in Minneapolis, Lindbergh is Terminal 1 and Humphrey is T2. Each have their own car rental desks, but T1 has much larger selections of vehicles. There is a train between the 2 terminals with a stop in the middle at the car rental facility. From T1 follow the signs down to the tram. Then you go up several levels to the car rental desk. Hertz/Thrifty/Dollar use the same cars, even though they have separate counters. Allow extra time to return the car, catch the tram and get to T1. In T2 the rental counters are a short stroll from the Humphrey Terminal.

It’s all indoors/covered lot. You take a tram from terminal 1 to rental car. Don’t worry if your line is long at car rental, other companies will assist (I can help you over here). Agents are very friendly and helpful. You find your car in covered lot No rush or pressure Gas tank is FULL!!! Sooo nice to see

This rental was in Terminal 2 at MSP- far smaller than the sprawling Terminal 1 a mile away. Easy to get to by car or transit, TSA lines usually very reasonable and good services in the gates area while waiting to board or after deplaning.. I like to use airlines going in/out of Terminal 2 whenever possible because of the time saved navigating the whole process. Using one of the car rental agencies located on site there is a bonus.

Minneapolis itself is a great city with lots of activities. I find the Mill City museum very interesting, as they discuss the history of the city and the important role of the Mill. You can take a walk over the Stone Arch Bridge and end the day at Young Joni with some really nice pizza. Minnehaha falls is definitely a place you must visit during your stay in Minneapolis. It's a beautiful waterfall and you can take an adventurous hike along the river! If you want to extend your stay beyond Minneapolis, it's worth it to drive to Duluth and walk along Lake Superior. The bridge and visitor's center are really fun and interesting. Further up North along Lake Superior you find beautiful State parks with waterfalls, rivers and beautiful nature. Definitely worth it!

When flying into MSP, US, be aware of the two terminals used for flights and rental car. A short tram and free rail trip connects Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Rental car office is on ground floor.

The Minneapolis airport is well laid out. Love the corridor with all the shops and restaurants. Lots of great choices for food before boarding your flight. Even have therapy dogs occasionally. Very easy to find your wing and departure gate.

Not a bad airport experience overall. I would definitely get to the airport early if you have an early morning flight. The line for TSA took an hour to get through when I left. It was literally backed up to the parking lot. I was on the first flight of the day and apparently there are a lot of planes that leave when the airport opens. The baggage claim was pretty fast and there are a lot of new hotels right near the airport to stay at too!

The Minneapolis airport was very easy to navigate. We had no issues locating the car rental area upon landing. It was a short walk and didn't require a tram or shuttle service which was a welcome surprise. The car rental area was well staffed with service associates servicing multiple car rental companies resulting in no lines. Once clear of the car rental garage, it was very easy to navigate to the freeway. Save for a small issue with the car rental (which was quickly resolved), it was a very pleasant experience.

Make your reservation. Make sure you have your credit card and license ready for speedy service. Make sure you choose the vehicle that's fitting for your comfort and style. No wondering which vehicle given to you. Unlike others you have a selection to choose from yourself. It's a huge parking deck, so make sure you follow the signs to reach your rental store.

The signage is not adequate for the traveler. On the other hand the facilities at for travelers with babies stuck On long layovers are A+. The Terminals are spotlessly clean. I like the pianos everywhere even tho I no longer play. And the canned music is not too loud. (I hope that is 6 sentences!$
