In the village of Bischwihr is a B&B called Cote Cour, very charming, well maintained beautiful rooms and a great breakfast. The restaurant Relais du Ried serves authentic alsacien dishes. The size of the airport is the best feature. It is easy to navigate through considering that two countries are accessible. Lines are short and distances to gates are convenient. Security is fast and I experienced short lines. The only negative experience was the fact that I had to walk under rain from the plane to the terminal upon my return and that the luggage was sitting in the rain. A simple roof structure might improve the current procedure when arriving on a smaller plane.
