Be aware of the age restrictions when you rent a car!

Its fleet consists of a large number of models and all the rental cars are equipped as standard with ABS, airbags, electric front windows, air conditioning, central locking, power steering, CD and stereo. Please notice that an authorized driver must be at least 25 years old and must possess a driving license that was issued at least one year before rental of the car. Drivers under the age of 25 can rent a car with a “Young Driver Surcharge” in certain categories. Returning the rental car on time is very important; otherwise you can buy a “Time Extension Supplement” in order to return the car up to 1 hour and 59 minutes beyond the agreed return time.

The car they offered was great for us. The pickup process was easy and the drop off at Rome Campino even better!
The car had quite a few minor scratches and dings which we had to show before depart, otherwise we would have given five stars. Also, the signage to find the place to collect rental cars was a little tricky to follow, but I think that was because the airport was being renovated. One more thing, we came to the airport by water taxi so it would be good to have signage from this area to the rental car collection area, as I imagine other people do this, too.

The process from meeting the hire car representative, picking the car up and dropping it off was fautless. Would highly recommend Maggiore car hire.
Signage at Linate AP Milano could be improved a little while the road works and improvements to the AP are under construction.

We were not given the Fiat 500 we had ordered, and instead received a smaller car (a Smart Car).

car chargers did not work (probably fuse blown off), staff was not able to repair it. On returning the car I filled up the car twice but the fuel meter never showed full. I got the car (January) on summer tyres. Staff does not speak English.
