International Airport Treviso A. Canova is located in the Veneto region, west of Treviso and north of Venice. This international airport is mainly used by low-cost airlines, such as Ryanair, Wizz Air and Albawings. It's a small airport, but you can fly to up to 45 destination from it. It's therefore a good alternative for the larger Marco Polo Airport, Venice's primary airport. Treviso Airport has one runway and a 3 floors terminal where you can find ATMs and money exchange offices.
The new terminal was officially opened in 200 and was named after Antonio Canova, a famous Italian sculptor. There is a tax-free shop and a small shop selling books, magazines, souvenirs and tobacco. The airport even has three cafés where you can buy hot or cold drinks, delicious toasted rolls, pizza and pasta. Passengers don’t have to worry about parking, because Treviso Airport has arranged this very well. Long term parking is possible at two parking spaces. Parking C and D are just a few minutes away from the terminal, where the fee is about EUR 6.50 per day.
